It is that time of year again when covered employers are required to submit their EEO-1 (Employer Information Report) report. The EEOC’s reporting portal is open and reports are due by September 30th.

Here is a link to the site to submit your report: eeoc.gov/employers/eeo1survey.

All employers with 100 or more employees and all federal contractors with 50 or more employees and $50,000 or more in federal contracts must complete the EEO-1 survey. You must have a login and password to enter the site and submit your survey. If you have filed in the past you should have received information for filing your 2015 report. If you did not receive any information you should contact technical assistance at e1.techassistance@eeoc.gov or 1-877-392-4647.

VEVRAA requires federal contractors to annually report on the total number of current employees who are protected veterans under VEVRAA, and the total number of protected veterans who were hired in the previous 12 months. Beginning this year federal contractors are required to submit the VETS-4212 survey which replaces the VETS-100 and VETS-100a reports that federal contractors were required to submit in the past. Federal contractors and subcontractors with $100,000 or more in contracts/subcontracts are required to submit a VETS-4212 survey.

Here is a link to the website to submit the VETS-4212 survey: vets4212.dol.gov/vets4212. This survey is also due by September 30th.

If you have questions about these surveys please contact Cascade.
