The Veterans’ Employment & Training Service has published a notice on their website stating the filing deadline for VETS100 and/or 100A report(s) has been extended to October 31, 2012. The deadline is typically September 30th, which is the same deadline as the required EEO-1 report.  Please note, only the VETS 100/100A report(s) have an extended deadline. For those employers required to file an EEO-1 report, you must still submit your EEO-1 report by September 30, 2012.

As a reminder, the VETS 100/100A reports must be submitted by every federal contractor depending on the dollar size of the contract, when the contract was originally signed, and if the original contract was modified. Your organization may be required to submit the VETS 100 or VETS 100A – or both if you have multiple federal contracts.

If your company has a federal contract of $25,000 or more entered into before December 1, 2003, which has not been modified after that date, you must submit the VETS-100 report.

If your company has a federal contract of $100,000 or more created or modified on or after December 1, 2003 you must submit the VETS-100A report.
